Position Title: Landscape Designer - Sales

Employment Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Prospect new business.
• Proactively pursue site enhancement sales and activities and present plans and estimates for enhancements to clients.
• 2-D & 3-D Designing-Drafting, Detailing, and document control.
• Provide expertise in plant selection, placement, and maintenance requirements.
• Contract and estimate- preparation, administration and closeout.
• Determine man hours & materials needed for each job to build accurate estimates.
• Site Review- inventory and analysis, project and logistical reviews.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to design innovative and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
• Understand, determine and shoot grades and elevations.
• Permit drawings and applications.
• Communicate with vendors for materials.
• Visit sites to monitor job progress, quality, and bring any materials.
• Communicate with customers for bidding, job status, job progress, and any other concerns in a polite and courteous manner.
• Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need to return visits and/or re-work due to quality of customer satisfaction issues.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Conduct team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the landscape/design industry required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dynascape or similar software program.
• Knowledge of hardscape elements.
• Display accountability for work being performed.
• Display a commitment to safety and practicing safe work behaviors.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: 

• Ability to transport up to the 50 lbs. of plant material around the job site.
• Requires lifting, bending, walking, carrying, and pushing equipment when necessary.
• Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and being regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, hot/cold and while moving equipment.
• Must be able to handle a loud noise level when operating or around certain equipment.
