Loader Operator – Northport WA

We are looking for a Loader Operator to join our Sutco USA team for our Northport, WA chip yard operations. POSITION BENEFITS

• Wage is $26-30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Part-time hours initially, increasing up to full-time hours.
• Overtime pay after 40 hours per week
• 4 paid 8-hour holidays per year
• Monday to Friday and occasional weekend shifts of up to 60 hours per week.
• Direct deposit pays, twice monthly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Log Loader: Unload log trucks and neatly deck wood in log yard.
• Wheel Loader: Unload log trucks, forward logs in yard, load chip trucks.
• Chip Dumper: Assist drivers with accessing dumper and operate the machine to unload trailers.
• Sort wood chips and logs, loading into a trailer or building a pile.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Operate other heavy equipment as required and instructed by site supervisors.
• Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld.
• General job set-up, site clean up, and materials removal.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the Sutco USA team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating Log Loader and Wheel Loader
• Experience running a Chip Dumper would be an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and capable of performing basic daily equipment maintenance.
• Motivated self-starter with positive attitude and proven safety record.
• Experience running other types of heavy equipment would be an asset.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Experience and knowledge of working in a chip yard, log yard or logging operation preferred.
• Physically fit and able to walk uneven ground, chip piles and log yard locations.
• Team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.
