Position Overview:

Our client is in need of a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join the team either in Columbia or Baltimore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones.
• Analyze survey data and create accurate maps, charts, and documents using software such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.
• Interpret legal documents and deeds to determine property boundaries.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on land surveying and civil engineering projects.
• Manage and oversee surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to provide accurate and comprehensive surveying services.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stay current with industry advancements and trends in surveying techniques and technology.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a PLS
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in surveying software, such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.
