They are growing and looking for a Frontend Developer to lead the software development lifecycle.

WHO YOU ARE:

An individual contributor that performs a variety of complex project tasks independently and within teams to facilitate full product development and maintenance efforts. You will need a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and are proficient in one or more technologies used in the Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience in HubSpot or similar Marketing Automation solution including integrations and marketing automation technology. The candidate will combine this marketing knowledge with a background in full stack development with a focus on .NET technologies and Angular for the front end. This person freely shares knowledge and expertise with others to support and mentor team members. You will research and/or recommend new technologies to improve efficiencies. The role will continue to enhance technical skills, provide guidance and direction to help make critical technical and project related decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Senior Software Engineer performs a variety of complex project tasks independently and within teams to facilitate full product development and maintenance efforts. The role has a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and is highly proficient in one or more technologies used in the Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience in HubSpot or similar Marketing Automation systems including customization of integrations, APIs, workflows, personalization, reporting and other related marketing automation technologies. The candidate will combine this technical marketing automation/systems knowledge with a background in front end or mobile development. This person freely shares knowledge and expertise with others to support and mentor team members. He/she researches and/or recommends new technologies to improve efficiencies. The role will continue to enhance technical skills, provide guidance and direction to help make critical technical and project related decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using HTML/CSS, Javascript, Angular, PWA, and mobile native as needed.
  • Implement RESTful/JSON or GraphQL APIs/webhooks and integrate with various third-party services.
  • Develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) in a mobile-responsive designs.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across different platforms and devices.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Create, maintain, and update internally and externally built websites, applications, and integrations.
  • Define technical designs and strategies, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provides and ensures accurate estimates ensuring a comprehensive approach.
  • Delivers solutions on-time and according to schedule.
  • Recognized as a domain expert in one or more areas of product functionality.
  • Work with managers, developers, release engineers, and other engineering teams to improve test automation, application performance, reliability, code quality and consistency, delivery, and velocity
  • Lead, mentor, coordinate, and interview other developers to evolve and grow the engineering teams.
  • Delivers and helps to ensure delivery of quality code, thorough unit testing, with fewer defects that rarely requires cleanup/refactoring.
  • Participate in tool selection, implementation, and problem solving across the customer journey.

Any Hubspot specific technology a plus:

  • HubL (HubSpot Markup Language): A key skill for creating and customizing templates, emails, and modules within HubSpot CMS.
  • HubDB: A relational database within HubSpot used for managing dynamic content on HubSpot CMS.
  • HubSpot API: Knowledge of HubSpot's RESTful API for integrating HubSpot with other platforms and systems.
  • HubSpot CRM: Experience customizing and extending HubSpot's CRM functionality, including creating custom properties, workflows, and automations.
  • Workflows and Automation: Proficiency in building and managing complex workflows for marketing, sales, and service automation within HubSpot.

Marketing Automation:

  • Develop and maintain HubSpot integrations to support marketing and sales automation.
  • Customize and extend HubSpot functionalities using HubSpot APIs, workflows, and custom code.
  • Design and implement automated marketing workflows, lead scoring, and email campaigns within HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that enhance business processes.
  • Ability to integrate HubSpot with subscription management systems (e.g., Chargebee, Recurly, Stripe) to streamline billing and subscription processes a plus.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS, Javascript, Angular, PWA, and mobile native as needed.
  • Implement RESTful/JSON or GraphQL APIs/webhooks and integrate with various third-party services.
  • Develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) in a mobile-responsive designs.
  • Experience with HubSpot APIs and custom HubSpot development or other similar CRM (Marketo, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, ActiveCampaign, etc..)
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Experience with Marketing, Marketing Automation and related business functions a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of subscription management systems (e.g., Chargebee, Recurly, Stripe) is a plus.
  • Understanding of database technologies such as SQL Server.
  • Experience developing for AWS utilizing lambda functions, API gateway, S3, and many other AWS features.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative thinking ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and self-motivated.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4 years of software development and design experience.
  • Familiarity with integrating and configuring Google Analytics or Tag Manager in HubSpot (or related marketing automation tool) for tracking and reporting.
  • Skills in designing and developing custom email templates, managing campaigns, and optimizing for deliverability.
  • Experience in creating high-converting landing pages using HubSpot's (or other marketing automation tools), a plus.
  • Understanding of lead capture forms, progressive profiling, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • HTML/CSS knowledge

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday
  • Remote -Ideally located within drivable distance to Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW).
  • Remote eligible states: TX, CO, NV, FL, GA, TN
  • Compensation: $150-$175k
  • Location: Dallas, Texas
