Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Verifies the designs, implementation of system/ software development and maintenance processes. Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes. Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for system/software inspection, verification and validation. Evaluates and analyzes system/software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Performs system/software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements. Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. AS9100 Knowledge/Experience Experience with verification and validation processes Auditing Experience for Software/Systems Software Engineering, Software Quality Engineering or Quality Engineering Experience Experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test Excellent Communication in both written and oral Must be able to possess Secret Security Clearance Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Desired Skills: Previous Experience within a Quality Role Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, corrective action , preventive action, Root Cause Analysis) Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers Experience with presentation & problem solving skills Experience working with Government customers and stakeholders Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001) Experience with development, production, and sustainment Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $95,900 - $183,800.
